The following procedure is observed:
For end-of-life tires resulting from the replacement of tires purchased by third parties (e.g. online sales), shops are required to issue a quantitative receipt form mentioning the individual’s data and the number of tires delivered to the shop for replacement (by category A, B, C, D1, D2).
If the store buys used tires and fits them to vehicles, these purchases must be accompanied by corresponding invoices. In any case, the number of used tires delivered to Ecoelastika, resulting from replacement with used (not new) tires, may not exceed 5% of the total.
In response to questions that we have received from collection points concerning Article 8 of the new cooperation agreement with Ecoelastika and the eventuality of a control mentioned in that article, we would like to clarify that this in by no means a tax audit. The control does not concern nor relates to tax matters.
If any control takes place at a collection point under Article 8, it is performed by a third-party independent controller, and shall be limited solely to the tire management issue and the application of the legislation under which Ecoelastika operates.
