Recovery Units
Ecoelastika cooperates with licensed recovery units, which receive the collected quantities of end-of-life tires from the collectors – transporters, for the purpose of their utilization.
The collaborating units are subsidised by Ecoelastika depending upon the quantities, type, and end-use of processed end-of-life tires they put on the market. The aim is to comply with the priorities set by the European legislation on matters of materials and energy recovery, as well as to promote the principles of circular economy. In Greece, 6 plants of mechanical processing are currently operating.
